The University of Fukuchiyama offers a “Short-Term Exchange Program” for overseas students (free tuition and accommodation!).
The purpose of this program is to promote mutual understanding by providing opportunities for exchange students from different countries, local students, and community members to learn about each other’s cultures and customs through interaction. Through these experiences, the program aims to further strengthen exchanges between our institutions.
Our university provides free homestay accommodation during students’ stay in Fukuchiyama. Host families treat the students as members of their own families, allowing both the hosts and the students to gain a deeper understanding of each other’s cultures, customs, and ways of thinking.

Program Period: July 6–July 19, 2025
Participants:
4 students from Taiwan(1 student from National Taichung University of Education,3 students from Providence University)
Program Contents:
- Japanese language classes (morning sessions)
- Cultural activities
- University life experiences
- Interaction with local citizens (visits to local schools, community events, homestay experiences)
- Sightseeing in Fukuchiyama City and surrounding areas
